Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a versatile software engineer to design, develop, configure, test, and document complex applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and .NET. You will own production support for in-house and third-party apps, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure quality across SDLC.

You will mentor junior developers, perform peer reviews, and help enforce release management standards while contributing to system improvements

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Ability to apply independent logical thinking to define problems and draw conclusions.
• Experience with tools such as PL/SQL Developer and TFS preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript and web technologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, configure, test, and document applications, integrations, and tools.
• Provide production support for internally developed and third-party applications, processes, and reports.
• Mentor less experienced developers and perform peer reviews.
• Lead design and development standards with architecture group.
