Job summary

Cogent Security is seeking a Senior GTM Recruiter to own sales hiring end-to-end and shape how we hire for our go-to-market teams, working directly with founders and executives to drive growth.

You will lead full-cycle recruiting for the sales organization, partner across marketing and other business units, and build scalable processes to attract, assess, and close top GTM talent in our fast-growing cybersecurity startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting in startups or high-growth tech.
• Experience building enterprise sales teams and GTM functions.
• Proven sourcing depth and referral program experience.
• History of closing candidates in competitive processes.
• Ability to manage many open roles while maintaining candidate experience.
• Proficiency with AI recruiting tools and building recruiting apps.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for the sales org and expand into marketing and other business roles as the company grows.
• Partner with founders, executives, and hiring leaders to plan each search and set how we run go-to-market hiring.
• Map the market and competitor sales teams to find top performers who aren't looking yet, and run outbound sourcing.
• Build a referral program that turns our network into a steady source of hires.
• Learn our product and sales motion to assess sellers in context, and partner with Marketing on the story for go-to-market candidates.
• Close top candidates in competitive processes and advise them through their offer decisions.
• Coach hiring managers and interviewers on structured interviewing so every candidate is held to the same bar.
• Track recruiting metrics like time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and source quality, and report progress to leadership.
