Job summary

Cogent, an Applied AI Lab building the next generation of AI agents for cybersecurity, is hiring a Senior GTM Recruiter to build our go-to-market team. You’ll own sales hiring end-to-end and collaborate with founders and executives to shape our hiring approach.

You’ll lead full-cycle recruiting for sales and marketing, map the market and run outbound sourcing, and build a referral program to sustain hiring. You’ll coach managers on structured interviewing and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a startup or high-growth tech company.
• Experience building enterprise sales teams and GTM functions with executive stakeholders.
• Proven sourcing depth, including referral programs that generate hires.
• Track record closing candidates in competitive processes with persuasive communication.
• Comfort managing many open roles simultaneously and maintaining candidate experience.
• Ability to guide hiring managers with data when a search stalls.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for our sales organization, expanding into marketing and other business roles as the company grows.
• Partner with founders, executives, and hiring leaders to plan each search and set hiring processes.
• Map the market and competitor sales teams to identify top performers not currently looking.
• Build and scale a referral program to source hires from networks.
• Learn our product and sales motion to assess sellers in context and work with Marketing on candidate storytelling.
• Close top candidates in competitive processes and advise through offer decisions.
• Coach hiring managers on structured interviewing to maintain consistent standards.
• Track metrics like time-to-fill and source quality, using data to refine searches.
