Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Sr Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of ground support equipment at airports across the continental U.S. You will service diesel and electric-powered vehicles, hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.

Must have strong technical knowledge, be able to travel 40–50% and work independently. Per diem when traveling and overtime pay are provided; a passport may be required for travel outside your region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant GSE experience.
• Proficient in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics/repair.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on service for aircraft tow tractors, loaders, deicers and other GSE.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Interface with PLC systems to upload/download programs and adjust controls.
• Collaborate with dealer technicians via phone/email or on-site for troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed documentation through work orders and reporting.
