Pennex in Leetonia, OH is seeking a Sr. Manager, Business Development - Commercial. You will lead market expansion for value-added products, collaborate with the VP of Sales, and oversee quote and account management across the eastern U.S. and beyond.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and strong customer engagement to drive growth in metal sales and extrusion offerings, with relocation and travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business,engineeringor equivalent experience.
• 8 years of related experience in metal sales (aluminum extrusion preferred).
• Strong background and knowledge of aluminum extrusion fabrication processes,equipmentand customers.

Responsabilidades

• Market Focus: Allocate ~75% of efforts to expanding commercial value-added markets and 25% to automotive value-added markets.
• Sales Development and Customer Engagement: develop a plan with the VP to meet growth targets and engage new customers.
• Account Management: manage all customer activities from RFQ to PO, ensure APQP and engineering validation.
• Quote Management: maintain a standardized quote system and process quotes quickly.
• Collaboration and Reporting: participate in leadership meetings; support marketing collateral and events.
• Support for Precision Engineered Products (PEP): assist with process improvements and equipment specs.
• Leadership: manage at least one team member; perform other duties as requested.
