Job summary

Pennex Aluminum Company in Leetonia, OH is seeking a Sr. Manager, Business Development - Commercial to drive growth in value-added markets within the eastern U.S. and select automotive sectors. You will lead quotes, manage accounts, and collaborate on strategic initiatives with the Sales leadership team.

You will oversee customer activities from RFQ to production and build relationships with distributors, customers, and internal teams, while championing long-range plans and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of related experience in metal sales (aluminum extrusion preferred).
• Strong background and knowledge of aluminum extrusion fabrication processes, equipment and customers.

Responsibilities

• Allocate 75% of efforts to expanding commercial value-added markets and 25% to automotive markets.
• Collaborate with VP of Sales to implement a growth plan for value-added opportunities across the eastern U.S.
• Oversee customer activities from RFQ to PO, ensuring APQP processes and engineering validation.
• Develop and maintain a standardized quote management system across all plants.
