Pennex in Leetonia, OH is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development - Commercial to expand value-added sales in commercial and select automotive markets. You will lead growth initiatives, engage customers, and oversee RFQ-to-PO processes while coordinating with marketing and engineering teams.

The role demands 8+ years in metal sales with a strong extrusion background and the ability to travel across the eastern U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of related experience in metal sales (aluminum extrusion preferred).
• Strong background and knowledge of aluminum extrusion fabrication processes, equipment and customers.

Responsabilités

• Allocate ~75% effort to expanding commercial value-added markets and 25% to align with automotive sales strategy.
• Collaborate with VP of Sales to implement a growth plan across eastern U.S. and other areas.
• Engage new customers, develop engagement plans, and manage quoting with timely follow-ups.
• Attract and onboard new extrusion and value-added customers aligned with LRP and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee RFQ-to-PO processes, APQP, and production startup with cross-functional teams.
• Develop standardized quote management system; supervise Quote Specialist.
• Participate in Manufacturing Leadership Team meetings and report on BD activities.
• Support PEP in extruded aluminum components and collaborate on equipment specs.
