Job summary

Nivoda is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Growth Pod to own backend and frontend experiences guiding new sign-ups to active customers. You will work on onboarding, verification, activation, and the sign-up-to-purchase funnel, building event-driven systems and front-end flows to educate customers and move them toward purchase.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in backend/product engineering.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing fluency; capability to perform cohort/funnel analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve backend services behind onboarding, verification, activation, and funnel.
• Design and build event-driven, workflow-orchestrated systems to track account states in real time.
• Integrate with identity verification, KYB/KYC, and fraud/risk providers with resilience and monitoring.
• Write and run experiments with guardrail metrics to measure impact of onboarding changes.
• Build AI-assisted tooling and ensure responsible use of credit/payments data.
