Job summary

Nivoda is hiring a Senior Engineer for the Growth Pod to own backend systems and front-end experiences that convert sign-ups into paying customers. You will shape onboarding, verification, activation, and the broader funnel with an emphasis on real-time state tracking.

You'll design event-driven workflows, work with identity verification and risk providers, and analyze funnel metrics directly through SQL in the data warehouse.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years backend product engineering experience.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with identity verification, KYB/KYC, and risk/fraud providers.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the backend services behind onboarding, verification, activation, and the sign-up-to-purchase funnel.
• Design and build event-driven, workflow‑orchestrated systems for activation, slipping, winback, and churn.
• Integrate with identity verification and risk providers, ensuring resilience and monitoring.
