Job summary

Hinge Health is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Growth Data Science team, focusing on defining measurement frameworks and building data foundations for new products and programs. You’ll partner with Growth Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science to drive strategy, experimentation, and analytics that accelerate member acquisition and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience with large datasets and analytics.
• 3+ years of experience using SQL and Python or R for analytics.
• Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, funnel analysis, and experimental frameworks.
• Experience defining metrics, building data models, and establishing measurement frameworks in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop measurement frameworks and define success metrics for new products and programs.
• Conduct deep-dive and funnel analyses to understand behavior and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Growth Marketing and Product to shape strategy for new products.
• Design and execute A/B tests with guardrails to measure incremental impact.
• Build data models and dashboards to provide visibility into funnel performance and results.
• Advocate for upstream instrumentation with consistent event schemas and timestamps.
• Apply predictive modeling and segmentation to improve understanding of user behavior and interventions.
