Job summary

Hyson in Brecksville, OH, seeks a Senior Group Paralegal, FMG, to provide high-level paralegal and legal-operations support across the organization. The role reports to the Vice President Human Resources and covers governance, contracts, compliance, investigations, HR communications, and external counsel coordination.

The candidate will manage matter intake, maintain filings, support entity administration, and lead commercial-contract work while safeguarding confidentiality and escalating issues

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive paralegal experience at senior level and ownership
• Experience supporting corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance and ethics
• Experience working with US outside counsel, regulators, or courts
• Experience with ethics/compliance hotline administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level paralegal and legal-operations support across US and global matters
• Manage matter intake, maintain trackers, prioritize deadlines, and follow through to completion
• Support corporate governance and entity administration, records, officer/director info, and consents
• Prepare and review contracts, documents, and correspondence to high accuracy and confidentiality
• Lead contract administration including templates, redlines, signatures, and obligation tracking
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on agreements and escalate as needed
• Maintain hotline activity, intake, confidentiality, and investigations reporting to VP HR
• Maintain hotline logs, timelines, action items, and periodic status reports
• Support employee-relations matters and external employment counsel coordination
• Support litigation, audits, and regulatory inquiries including holds and eDiscovery
