Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Project Manager, Senior - Group Medicare to drive operational excellence and crossfunctional delivery across Medicare Advantage and Part D initiatives. You will coordinate multi-team workstreams, streamline processes, and partner with employer groups to enhance client and member satisfaction.

The role emphasizes CMS readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management, operations, or healthcare administration.
• Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience within healthcare, managed care, health plan operations, or Medicare-related business operations.
• Knowledge of Medicare products, CMS regulations, compliance requirements, and operational processes.
• Experience with Employer Group Medicare Advantage products preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) preferred.
• Experience leading crossfunctional teams toward shared outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crossfunctional workstreams to drive operational excellence.
• Streamline operational processes and partner with internal teams and employer groups.
• Support retiree population and elevate client/member experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery and program readiness.
• Report to Program Manager and contribute to CMS readiness cycles.
