Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Senior Project Manager, Group Medicare (non-IT) to propel ongoing operations, crossfunctional delivery, and CMS readiness for our Medicare offerings. You will coordinate crossfunctional workstreams, optimize processes, and partner with internal teams and employer groups to enhance efficiency and client/member experience.

In this hybrid role, you’ll lead initiatives affecting retirees and plan sponsors, report to the Program Manager, and apply Lean Six Sigma principles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in program or project management, healthcare ops, or administration.
• Experience with project management methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of Medicare products, CMS rules, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead crossfunctional teams to drive Group Medicare initiatives.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholder groups toward shared outcomes.
• Support cross-market collaboration and readiness cycles.
• Ensure high-quality client and member support across plan lifecycle.
