Job summary

Blue Shield of CA’s Group Medicare team seeks a Senior Project Manager (non-IT) to drive operational excellence, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and streamline processes. You will partner with internal teams and employer groups to enhance efficiency and elevate client and member experiences.

This role strengthens Group Medicare performance, supports retirees, and identifies opportunities to improve delivery and sustainability of programs. Hybrid work with in-office two days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program management, project management, operations, or healthcare administration.
• Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience within healthcare, managed care, health plan operations, or Medicare-related business operations.
• Knowledge of Medicare products, CMS regulations, compliance requirements, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement of Group Medicare offerings.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and streamline operational processes.
• Partner with internal teams and external employer groups to enhance efficiency and elevate client/member experience.
