Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have worked as a Group Leader for minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to supervise, develop and plan activities.
• Experience coaching staff and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities.
• Supervise and train staff and activity instructors.
• Model professional conduct aligned with mission and values.
• Engage in participant and family outreach to improve attendance.
• Use effective behavior management techniques in programming.
• Document participant progress and maintain records.
• Write sequenced lesson plans and adapt curriculum to students’ interests.
• Support parent engagement and program-wide events.
• Ensure safety and secure storage of facilities and equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to training sessions.
