TELUS Health Retirement Consulting is seeking a Senior Analyst to administer group annuity plans and provide analytical and administrative support. You will handle inquiries, perform complex benefit calculations, and maintain client relationships within a robust DB administration team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with flexible options to work in-office, remotely, or hybrid.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Defined Benefit pension administration experience (including complex retirement, termination, death, and marriage breakdown calculations)
• Post-secondary education (preferably Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to Pension Administration
• Advanced knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation
• Experience reviewing pension calculations and member transactions
• Ability to lead projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong client service focus and professional acumen

Responsibilities

• Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients and members promptly and professionally
• Calculate termination, retirement, marriage breakdown and death benefits per plan provisions and legislation
• Foster strong relationships between client and administration team
• Coordinate information flow between client and administration team
• Prepare year-end pension statements
• Ensure data accuracy within the group annuity database
• Assist with special projects as required
