Job summary
SLR Consulting (Canada) is seeking a Senior Groundwater Modeler to join a team of hydrogeologists working on mining water challenges worldwide. You will contribute to hydrogeological projects in Canada and abroad, mentor junior staff, and help deliver robust groundwater models.
The role requires travel to project sites, a hybrid work arrangement, and a commitment to technical excellence, business development, and client service within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology or related discipline.
- Registered as a P.Geo or P.Eng.
- Minimum 15 years of groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling experience.
- Experience with 3D hydrogeological conceptual models and software.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on hydrogeological projects in Canada, Australia, and South America.
- Develop and refine groundwater flow & contaminant transport models with input from senior staff.
- Review and interpret groundwater-related data for conceptual and numerical modeling.
- Develop 3D hydrogeological conceptual models using designated software.
