Job summary
The Foth Companies seeks a team-focused Hydrogeologist / Hydrologist to contribute to environmental services projects from our Green Bay, WI office and nearby locations. You will join a multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists to advance groundwater and surface water modeling and site remediation efforts.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering with hands-on hydrogeology work, field investigations, and experience with MODFLOW/MT3D, HEC-RAS, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Experience conducting hydrogeologic investigations, analysis, and modeling.
- Technical writing and report preparation experience.
- Proficiency with groundwater and surface water modeling tools such as MODFLOW/MT3D, FEFLOW, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP-SWMM, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Support hydrogeology and surface water hydrology projects.
- Conduct field investigations including aquifer testing and surface water gauging.
- Develop numerical groundwater flow and transport models for permitting and remediation.
- Characterize groundwater systems in unconsolidated deposits and rock.
- Analyze hydrologic data and forecast using probabilistic methods.
- Prepare technical reports and memos for natural resource permits.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists on projects.
- Provide construction support and project administration.
