Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; irrigation design and turfgrass courses preferred.
• Must obtain North Carolina Class A CDL within 12 months; maintain a safe driving record.
• Must hold valid pesticide license upon employment.
• Experience with irrigation systems and grounds equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains irrigation systems.
• Operates and maintains tractors, backhoe, bobcat, and other equipment.
• Sprays pesticides, fertilizes, and aerates fields.
• Maintains grounds including grass, shrubs, trees, walkways.
• Provides limited training to other grounds staff and assists with snow/ice removal.
