Job summary

Russell is seeking a Construction Superintendent to supervise all phases of our projects across the Midwest from Leawood, KS. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 5+ years of experience in ground-up or major renovations. Travel to sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities per plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors to align plans and budgets.
• Manage subcontractor performance, quality and safety compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain safety as per OSHA.
• Maintain project documentation and daily logs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams.
• Address project needs and resolve conflicts.
