CPS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects from preconstruction through closeout in Crestwood, IL. Ground-up experience is required, and the role involves budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and client communication.

You will oversee diverse projects, drive cost controls, and lead field teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Strong leadership and contract administration skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience.
• Ground-up Construction Experience Required.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience with construction management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from estimating and mobilization through project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Lead project teams including field superintendents and project coordinators.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project profitability and overall client satisfaction.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
