Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Principal Ground Systems Integrator to support the Space Development Agency's Tranche 3 Program Integration. The role involves overseeing the systems engineering and integration of ground segments for a constellation of satellites, with a dynamic, fast-paced schedule.

The position can be onsite in Chantilly, VA or remote from Colorado Springs, CO or Denver, CO, and requires an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline; or Master's with relevant experience.
9 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in development or operation of software-intensive classified systems.
Experience with Cloud-based systems deployed in Amazon Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) such as SC2S.
Ability to work in a very dynamic environment with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.
Ability to facilitate technical discussions with SMEs.
Experience with Agile methods for program management or software development.

Responsibilities

Act as Program Integrator Liaison to the Ground Segment development contractor.
Monitor interface development, testing, and software deployment and advise on progress.
Dig in to figure out technical solutions with proactive mindset.
Collaborate with stakeholders on ICDs, interface maturation, and new interfaces for mission closure.
Identify and assess risks related to ground systems and develop mitigation strategies.
Support verification, validation, and deployment of ground solutions to operations.
Support readiness reviews and major program reviews to evaluate ground system readiness.
