Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a skilled verification and validation engineer to support ground software in command and control and mission management systems. You will design and execute integration and test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and enhance testing automation.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation, and improvement of testing processes in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.
Experience in ground software system verification, specifically with C2 and mission management systems.
Strong background in system integration and testing, including planning, execution, and documentation.
Proficiency with test automation and testing tools.
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience (senior roles require 8+ years).

Responsibilities

Conduct verification and validation activities for ground software, focusing on command and control and mission management systems.
Design, write, and execute comprehensive integration and test plans, procedures, and test cases.
Partner with software developers and cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.
Implement automated testing strategies and tools to streamline the integration lifecycle.
Generate technical documentation, including test results, system configurations, and optimization recommendations.
