Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the physical integration and packaging of structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics subsystems for the New Glenn ground systems. You will create and manage interface definitions to support major design reviews and milestones.

You will coordinate regular configuration reviews, collaborating with development teams to ensure interfaces and subsystem functionality are aligned with project goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience in development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Experience with configuration control from trade studies through manufacturing and test.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with 3-D CAD and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools.
• Judgment and adaptability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Create ground system architectures for the New Glenn Launch System and future variants.
• Create, release, and maintain Interface Control Drawings and Models.
• Interface with flight and ground elements to ensure a complete, balanced system and support design reviews.
