Job summary

Walmart in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, digital tools and power tools. The role requires 10 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, plus a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, responding to emergencies, safety compliance, and lifting

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and follow Walmart safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
