Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking an experienced Grid Systems Solution Architect to guide electric utility grid modernization projects.

You will work within the Enterprise System & Integration team, focusing on SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS to deliver high-value consulting services. You will lead architecture, integration and implementation efforts, coordinate with clients and teams, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule and budget while advancing enterprise-grade solutions for grid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, CS, IT, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise/operations architecture experience.
• Experience with electric utility clients and EMS/DMS/ADMS/DER preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and project execution skills.
• Travel: <30% per year.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop and implement SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS solutions.
• Lead commissioning, testing and deployment of systems.
• Provide field support, troubleshooting, and project coordination.
• Lead program estimating, planning, and budgeting.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality.
