Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer to work with distribution SCADA systems and multi-disciplinary teams across office and field sites. You will plan, develop, test and troubleshoot power system components, RTUs and field devices, with focus on D-SCADA and EMS modeling.

You will lead technical studies, prepare detailed reports and collaborate across departments to support Grid Modernization initiatives while benefiting from a hybrid work model with in-office requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 5–8 years of related engineering experience.
• Familiarity with SCADA/EMS is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional project work.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering guidance and problem-solving across complex systems.
• Plan, schedule and monitor work activities affecting projects.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and sketches.
• Develop power system modeling for EMS Network Applications.
• Configure, test and commission RTUs and field devices.
