Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking experienced Reliability Engineers to support the assessment, improvement, and long-term performance of electric distribution systems across multiple PA locations. This on-site role is ideal for mid-to-senior engineers with a strong background in reliability and grid modernization initiatives.

You will analyze outage events, develop long-range plans, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with field ops and control centers to ensure safe and reliable service while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in electric utility engineering focused on distribution reliability.
• Experience at Engineer III or IV level and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of reliability metrics, outage analysis, and infrastructure planning.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve electric distribution system reliability across multiple PA areas.
• Develop long-range reliability improvement strategies and capital plans.
• Support infrastructure investments and storm restoration efforts.
• Perform outage data reviews and provide engineering recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and present to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with field ops and control centers.
• Ensure safety requirements and regulatory compliance in all work.
