The position demands a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least six years of related experience, with hybrid in-office work three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required; 6+ years of power systems experience considered in lieu of advanced degree
• Experience in load flow and contingency analysis to identify transmission constraints and transfer limits
• Experience using transmission planning software for load flow, contingency, and stability analyses using PSS/E, PSLF, TARA

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission planning and analysis for utility and consultant projects
• Develop generator interconnection studies including single line diagrams and stability/short‑circuit models
• Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies to guide interconnection customers
