Job summary

TerraForm Power is seeking a Senior Interconnection Engineer to support siting strategy and project construction for Greenfield and Repower projects. You will lead grid injection analysis, estimate interconnection costs and schedules, and drive process improvements across the Interconnection team.

You will coordinate with Real Estate Origination, Development, and Delivery teams, negotiate interconnection agreements, and ensure compliance during construction while aligning with procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading transmission generator design and interconnection processes.
• Familiarity with PJM, ISO NE, CAISO, SPP, MISO and SERC grids and interconnection processes a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead grid injection analysis and studies for interconnection.
• Estimate interconnection costs and schedules.
• Develop standard processes & tools for interconnection workflow.
• Manage interconnection databases and 3rd-party consultants.
• Coordinate with Utility and EPC partners throughout construction.
