Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Implementation Consultant to support clients across multi-location sites, including Houston, Dallas, Charlotte and Kansas City.

You will lead large implementations of asset, work management, capital project delivery, and grid-related systems, driving technical design and customer relationships. The role requires 7+ years of experience in enterprise systems, strong leadership, and the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field; 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Excellent enterprise system implementation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
• Ability to independently solve difficult problems requiring adaptation of standard techniques and criteria.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with identified critical path items.
• Focus on big picture while analyzing details critical to project outcomes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of enterprise systems solutions while supporting and collaborating with internal and external project teams.
• Lead development and design of technical implementation.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise-wide approaches for digitizing business capabilities.
• Support development of technical specifications, project approaches, cost estimates and schedules.
• Perform QA/QC of deliverables to adhere to client and project requirements.
• Support development of enterprise system needs and implementation of improved processes.
• Maintain relationships with clients, customers, and contractors to develop business.
• Demonstrate industry knowledge and relevance to enterprise systems.
• Leverage domain knowledge with cross-divisional teams.
• Provide leadership and direction for delivery stages for enterprise system technology.
• Manage innovation initiatives through research and vetting of new technology.
• Oversee project execution from initiation to completion with requirements gathering and deliverables.
• Provide leadership and instruction to less experienced staff.
• Ensure QA/QC process adherence and policy compliance.
