Job summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Security Consultant - GRC to join its growing cybersecurity advisory practice. This client-facing role requires a hands-on professional who can lead engagements and translate complex security and regulatory requirements into practical, business outcomes.

You will help develop governance models, deliver high-quality services, mentor others, and collaborate with sales, project managers, and executives to ensure client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, or business.
• 7+ years in governance, risk, and compliance with client-facing advisory experience preferred.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit in a professional services environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to clients on GRC, governance and security program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing engagements independently with high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct governance, risk, compliance assessments and control evaluations.
• Facilitate risk assessments and tabletop exercises for enterprise and third-party risk.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, and operating procedures.
• Support internal audit readiness, compliance reporting and remediation planning.
• Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and practice leaders to identify client needs.
• Contribute to practice growth by refining methodologies and mentoring consultants.
