Job summary

SHI is seeking a Senior Security Consultant - GRC to join its cybersecurity advisory practice. This client-facing role requires translating complex security and regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes, leading engagements, and mentoring others.

The ideal candidate will develop governance models and security frameworks, deliver high-quality consulting services, and collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of governance, risk, and compliance experience in client-facing environments.
• Experience in cybersecurity advisory or internal audit is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on GRC, cybersecurity governance, and program maturity.
• Lead and deliver client-facing consulting engagements independently.
• Conduct governance, risk, and compliance assessments aligned to industry frameworks.
• Facilitate risk assessments and incident response tabletop exercises for diverse stakeholders.
• Develop governance models, security frameworks, policies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Support internal audit readiness and compliance reporting for clients.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Managers to identify client needs and drive delivery.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to practice growth and methodology improvements.
