Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Analyst to support day-to-day Common Controls Framework (CCF) operations. You will bring security, GRC, and product-management expertise to advise stakeholders across the business and help design, map, and maintain controls across certification programs.

You will analyze requirements, streamline assessments, and partner with Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Product teams to drive adoption and efficiency. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security governance, GRC, technical writing, program management, or compliance operations at a tech company.
• Direct security-domain experience (application security, cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management, or GRC-adjacent).
• Ability to write clear, concise standards, policies, or procedures for non-security readers.
• Familiar with major security/privacy frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA, EU AI Act).
• Comfort running cross-functional review cycles with senior stakeholders (Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Product).
• Strong attention to detail—versioning, traceability, review dates, approver signatures.
• Experience with a GRC platform (Salesforce eGRC, ServiceNow GRC, Archer, OneTrust, LogicGate).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently across many parallel workstreams.
• Highest level of ethics, independence, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, maintenance, and evolution of the CCF and its implementation across Salesforce certification programs.
• Map controls to frameworks, standards, and certification requirements; identify reuse opportunities.
• Maintain and update controls throughout their lifecycle including descriptions and mappings.
• Analyze requirements and streamline assessment processes for certification programs.
• Partner cross-functionally to support CCF adoption and implementation.
• Research regulations, standards, and certification requirements for impact on the CCF.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, reuse, and increase efficiency of controls.
• Develop reporting, metrics, and analyses on CCF adoption and readiness.
• Maintain current CCF documentation and supporting materials.
• Stay informed on regulatory and compliance trends and share updates with the team.
• As experience grows, own defined controls, mappings, or workstreams.
• Use AI/GPT tooling responsibly to enhance CCF processes and data management.
