Job summary

HNTB is seeking a skilled graphic designer to create templates and materials for complex proposals, interviews, and internal communications. You will design print and digital assets, oversee production with vendors, and mentor junior staff to maintain a high-quality visual identity across projects.

Responsibilities include leading creative direction for pitches, developing presentation templates, and ensuring typography and layout maximize legibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Advanced knowledge of typography and layout for print and digital materials.
• Ability to lead creative direction for proposals and presentations.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work.

Responsibilities

• Create print and digital materials for proposals, including templates, charts, maps, infographics, covers and layout.
• Create print and digital materials for presentations, including PowerPoints, leave-behinds, and display boards.
• Create print and digital materials for PR and internal communications, including brochures, ads, and announcements.
• Follow and implement the visual identity direction from leadership on key projects and pursuits.
• May work on complex projects requiring specialized design or industry knowledge, including leading creative direction for print and digital materials for proposals, presentations or other marketing-related efforts.
• Mentor lower-level designers and coordinate with vendors; review final graphics for approval.
