Brief: Super Evil Genius Corp is a five-year agency that has carved out a niche in the world of music, live entertainment, sports, cannabis, craft spirits, beauty, and fashion. Our approach to marketing and branding sees a holistic and creative approach to modern problems; our motto being, “ideas for a new generation.” We are here to think differently, not for the sake of doing so, but because we want to find a unique and original approach to problem-solving and creative thinking for our clients. Located in Long Beach with a full-time staff of fifteen, we are a small to mid-range agency that has seen year-over-year growth. We work hard during the week, and we keep a hard line between after-hours and weekends with our clients.

This role is a full-time role in-office at our Long Beach, CA, location. The Senior Graphic Designer position is a salary-based position with Guideline 401K Match Plan, Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Benefits, as well as two weeks of vacation pay per year.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Develop and pitch new brand concepts for use in global and localized campaigns
• Overseeing all tasked design projects, from conception to delivery
• Designing original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
• Reviewing junior designers’ work to ensure high-quality
• Demonstrate strong graphic design and illustration skills.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Possesses strong organizational skills.
• Refine images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software
• Apply typography techniques
• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise various products or services
• Maintain brand consistency throughout various projects
• Update and enforce visual style guides for use by internal and external teams and partners
• Maintain brand consistency throughout marketing retainer clients
• Liaise with the creative project manager, as well as marketing and design teams to
• ensure deadlines are met
• Be Detail-oriented
• Capable of thinking creatively and analytically.
• Conduct independent research into the target market of a given project.
• Mastery in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
• Have a unique taste in music and culture
• Display a strong understanding of multiple design styles

Key Responsibilities Include:

·Experience with Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace

·Experience with Motion Graphics

·Assist in the planning and creative process of new client acquisition

·Attend meetings as assigned
