THE ROLE:
FloSports is looking for a passionate Senior Designer with a keen eye for creativity and a strong ability to produce visually captivating content. As a Senior Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging visual experiences that resonate with the FloSports audience and elevate the brand in the sports media landscape. This role will focus heavily on supporting various marketing initiatives across all channels and work closely with internal integrated marketing teams, content teams and live production teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visual Content Creation: Lead the design process for a wide range of visual content, including but not limited to graphics, illustrations, social media assets, website elements, marketing materials, and video animations. Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute compelling ideas that align with our brand and resonate with our sports-loving audience.
Brand Identity: Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects. Continually evolve and elevate our brand identity while maintaining a strong connection to our core values and mission.
User-Centric Design: Understand the needs and preferences of our audience to create user-centric designs that enhance user experience and engagement on our digital platforms.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to integrate design elements seamlessly into various projects. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and actively contribute to the growth of the design team.
Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, sports industry innovations, and emerging technologies. Apply this knowledge to design concepts and stay ahead of the competition.
Project Management: Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion. Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results.
Design Optimization: Analyze design performance and user feedback to iterate and optimize visual content continuously. A/B test designs to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on digital media and sports-related projects. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work is essential.
Sports Enthusiast: A genuine passion for sports and a deep understanding of various sports cultures, events, and athletes. This passion should translate into your design work, creating compelling visual narratives.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), as well as experience with video editing and animation tools (Cinema4D).
Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively, pushing the boundaries of design to create fresh, engaging, and visually stunning content.
Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of design output and consistency in brand representation.
Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
Degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by relevant work experience.
