Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Grants Strategy and Development Team in Florida. The role leads post‑award grant management for public infrastructure projects and supports business development across the country.

You will work with public and private organizations, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines (2 CFR 200) while delivering milestone and financial reports and managing grant agreements. This position offers growth within a national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, Urban or Transportation Planning, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of complex grant experience, including grant writing, post‑award administration, and grant accounting.
• Previous experience supporting business development efforts, shaping pursuit strategy, and securing new advisory engagements with public- and private-sector clients.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and adapt to client requests for grant development and/or management support.
• Experience with post-award grant management platforms such as the FTA TrAMS.
• Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-award grant management and compliance strategies for public infrastructure projects, on behalf of clients and in collaboration with the Advisory team and other WSP practice groups.
• Contribute to business development efforts by building the Grant Strategy and Development Team’s portfolio of post-award grant management contracts.
• Leverage professional networks to support proposals, marketing, and cross-selling of WSP capabilities.
• Contribute to client engagement and foster client relationships.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Federal regulations including 2 CFR 200 and ensure compliance of grant activities.
• Manage development of complex post-award deliverables such as milestone/progress and financial reports.
• Take initiative and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Serve as task lead for grant assistance contracts; manage scope, schedule, and budget.
