Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ seeks a Sponsored Projects Analyst III to serve as a strategic partner to the Manager, Government and Research Grants. You will assist in government and private research grant proposals, ensuring completeness and compliance prior to submission and acting as SME guiding project teams.

As the primary POC for government and private grants, you will review RFPs, coordinate grant intake, and support post‑award administration across a portfolio of grants,

Qualifications

• Primary POC for support for government grants (local, state, and federal) and private research grants.
• Guide and trainer to new project teams with little to no experience during the grant lifecycle.
• Provides post award administration and guidance for a portfolio of grants by interpreting award terms and sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review the Request for Proposal (RFP) and meet with PI/PD to activate a roadmap to grant submission.
• Coordinate Grant Intake Form, addendum preparation, coordinating legal review, obtaining approval, and authorized signatures.
• Creates folders on a shared drive for grant applications and awards by year.
• Liaises with Compliance, Legal, Accounting and IRB.
• Monitor grant award budgets, expenditures and financial performance; support budget modifications and award actions.
• Collaborate with teams across Atlantic Health including Finance and Accounting.
• NIH Grants Administrator – main POC for NIH applications to grants.gov; stay abreast of changes and support from inception to NOA.
