Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Sponsored Projects Analyst III to partner with the Manager, Government and Research Grants. The role reviews government and private grant proposals for completeness before submission, ensures compliance with policies, and supports pre-award activities.

You will serve as SME on sponsor guidelines, navigate federal regulations, train teams, and coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Accounting and IRB to minimize risk and accelerate funding.

Qualifications

• Experience managing government and private research grant proposals.
• Knowledge of sponsor guidelines, federal/state regulations, and institutional policies.
• Ability to guide project teams through the grant lifecycle and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Primary POC for government and private grants, overseeing proposal submission.
• Guide and train new project teams with grant lifecycle experience.
• Liaises with Compliance, Legal, Accounting and IRB to ensure alignment.
• Provide post-award administration and guidance, interpreting award terms.
• Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
• Support subrecipient monitoring and risk assessment of federal sub-awards.
