Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a Manager of Sponsored Awards to oversee financial operations, compliance, and post-award administration for sponsored programs. The role supports audits, reporting, and risk management across federal, state, private, and industry-funded grants.

The position requires strong accounting and grants management expertise, exceptional analytical and leadership skills, and collaboration with finance, legal, and program leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Seven years related experience.
• Ability in PC and mainframe environments.
• Excellent analytical and communications skills.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Lawson, COGNOS, Crystal Reports, and Premier Operations Advisor.
• CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• Requires detailed knowledge of cost accounting principles in terms of theories and practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations and system support for assigned service lines, ensuring appropriate cost controls, revenue management, and stewardship of organizational resources.
• Develop, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, audit activities and management reporting requirements.
• Provide financial guidance and consultation to Service Line leadership on accounting principles, budgeting practices, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with operational leaders to optimize the utilization of financial resources and improve financial performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to enhance revenue generation and reduce operational costs.
