Job summary

Pacific Foundation Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Grants Manager to lead all grants management activities for Sunlight Giving and affiliated entities. The role requires overseeing policies, workflow design, and coordination with program staff, grantees, and vendors.

The position includes supervising grants staff and interns, and ensuring accurate reporting to the Board and external partners. The Senior Grants Manager reports to the Vice President of Administration, works full-time (37.5

Qualifications

• Five+ years of substantive administrative and operational experience.
• At least three years’ experience in philanthropy and/or the nonprofit sector.
• Demonstrated experience in formulating and implementing policies and procedures.
• Excellent writing and editing skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, design, implement, and monitor grantmaking workflow processes.
• Supervise grants managers and interns; train staff.
• Coordinate with grantees, Board members, program staff, and outside vendors.
• Prepare reports and charts for board members, program staff, and external entities (e.g. Foundation Center).
• Develop funding applications and coordinate open application screening process.
• Create and maintain physical and electronic files.
• Participate in Grants Management team meetings and professional development.
