Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Grant Administrator to coordinate the strategic operational execution of a complex, multi-million-dollar grant-funded department.

Home-based work is available and the role may lead or manage others, serving as a liaison among program strategy, financial management, compliance, and operations. You will translate programmatic goals into budgets, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency, accountability, and impact while monitoring grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong knowledge of grant management, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation with leadership teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity and provide variance reporting.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure policy compliance.
• Develops and maintains controls and documentation for audit readiness.
• Acts as Voices technology coordinator for grantmaking systems.
• Builds relationships with internal teams and partners for high-quality outcomes.
• Leads or contributes to cross-functional initiatives and project teams.
• Contributes to operational planning for grant-making enhancements.
