Job summary

American Heart Association seeks a Sr. Grant Administrator to coordinate the strategic operational execution of a multi-million-dollar grant-funded department.

You will liaise across program strategy, financial management, compliance, and operations to translate goals into budgets, systems, and processes ensuring efficiency, accountability, and impact. This role may lead a team and collaborates with internal partners and external grantees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of meaningful experience.
• Strong skills in accounting, budgeting, grant compliance, and project management.
• Experience with grant management software and CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation with multiple teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures with variance reporting and reconciliation guidance.
• Coordinate work with internal stakeholders across staff functions to ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation for audit readiness.
