Job summary

The Annenberg Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Associate in Los Angeles to lead grantmaking activities within the Community Grantmaking portfolio and to coordinate administrative and logistical support for capacity-building initiatives such as Alchemy. The role also serves as the lead program coordinator for Catchafire, the online capacity-building program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in public or business administration or related field.
• Three or more years of work experience, preferably in a foundation or nonprofit environment or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals to determine relevance to the Foundation's mission and grantmaking priorities.
• Coordinate administrative and logistical activities for capacity-building programs, including Alchemy.
• Lead the program coordination for Catchafire, the online capacity-building program.
• Assist with due diligence, site visits, budgets, financial statements, and grant reporting.
• Maintain calendars, timelines, and budgets; support staff and vendors involved in program activities.
• Prepare memos and routine correspondence; support grants management and data systems.
