Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals to join as Grant Compliance Advocates. This role supports a network of community organizations to ensure compliant grant administration, review fidelity to awards, and monitor staff qualifications and facility conditions across LA-area program partners.

The position requires a four-year degree and at least two years of relevant experience, with lived-experience assets considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Social Sciences or related fields.
• Two years of full-time administrative or programmatic experience delivering social services or working in a community-based environment.
• Additional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Lived experience with incarceration, addiction recovery, poverty, foster care, or other systems involvement is asset.
• Experience collecting and entering data to demonstrate deliverables to funding sources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide technical assistance to subcontracted Service Providers to ensure compliance with regulations and grant deliverables.
• Liaise with the network of subcontracted Service Providers.
• Provide on-the-ground evaluation and support to diverse providers across Los Angeles County.
• Develop and issue grants or service contracts in line with project guidelines.
• Ensure access to training for data entry and grant reporting across subgrantees.
• Establish ongoing quality assurance monitoring and quarterly review meetings.
• Conduct program reviews and supervise corrective action to ensure high-quality services.
• Report progress to Grant Administrator and senior management.
