Mount Sinai is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee the full grants cycle, including pre-award budgeting, post-award monitoring, and subcontracts.

You will guide research teams, ensure compliance with federal, state, and private funder rules, and supervise Grants and Contracts Specialists and a Financial Analyst.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 7+ years in grants management, with at least 3 years in supervisory roles.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in related areas preferred.
• 7+ years experience in grants management or closely relevant, preferably in health care or higher education, with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the grants cycle, including pre-award budget development and post-award monitoring.
• Provide guidance in preparation, submission, processing and management of research grants and contracts for Research teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and private agency rules and Mount Sinai Health System policies.
• Supervise Grants and Contracts Specialists and Financial Analyst(s).
• Review proposals and expenditures for accuracy and compliance before submissions.
• Liaise with department administrators and external sponsors to secure endorsements and edits.
