Job summary

State of Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division in Las Vegas seeks a full-time Social Services Program Specialist 3 to oversee grant management for the Planning Advocacy & Community program, coordinating federal and state funding and supervising staff.

The role serves as the program coordinator and subject matter expert, develops and delivers training, provides technical assistance, and delivers presentations on request to advance program goals and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to the program.
• Two years of professional social services experience, including coordinating program activities.
• Experience interpreting regulations and writing program policies and reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant management activities, including federal and state funding.
• Develop and facilitate training, provide technical assistance, and deliver presentations upon request.
• Oversee subawards and supervise staff as needed.
