Job summary

Downtown Women’s Center seeks a Finance Manager to oversee government and private grants and contracts, lead the Finance & Grants team, and ensure accurate budgeting, billing, reporting, and revenue recognition. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Master's degree preferred; CPA/CGMA/MBA or similar credential preferred.
• 7+ years nonprofit finance with grants management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience with government grants and Uniform Guidance.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of government and private grants and contracts.
• Lead grant budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Monitor spend, forecast variances, and assist with audits.
• Ensure GAAP revenue recognition and funder compliance.
• Mentor and supervise Finance & Grants staff; improve processes.
