Job summary

The Salvation Army of Dane County is seeking a Grants and Contracts Manager to research, write, and manage public, private, and foundation funding in collaboration with Social Services and the Development team.

You will develop a grant management system, ensure compliance across funding sources, and support budgeting and reporting activities. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ government funding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• 3 years of government funding experience or equivalent.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with TSA insurance clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants and contracts, including public, private, corporate, and foundation funding.
• Develop and maintain a grant management system to track deadlines, awards, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and funder guidelines.
• Collaborate with Social Services and Development teams on funding priorities.
• Prepare grant proposals, subawards, and collaboration agreements.
• Track program outcomes in HMIS and assist with budgeting and reporting.
